Cinnamon Roasted Pecans




The perfect treat to have out while hosting Thanksgiving!

My lovely Aunt Charletta taught me to make these- and they have become a fall tradition in our home ever since. It will take every part of you not to eat the entire batch at once!

These pair perfectly with a hot cup of coffee with a dash of cinnamon.

Cinnamon Roasted Pecans

Cook Time: 40 minutes

2 lbs.

Cinnamon Roasted Pecans


  • 2 lb. Pecan Halves
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 2 Tbsp. Cold Water
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 3 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt


  1. Mix Pecans, Egg Whites and Water in large mixing bowl.
  2. In separate bowl, combine Sugar, Cinnamon and Salt.
  3. Add mixture to the Pecans and stir until well coated.
  4. Spread pecans evenly on baking sheet. Bake on 300° for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. 
  5. Remove from oven and let dry. (You may nee to use a metal spatula to take off of pan- they like to stick!)
